Brow Lift

Your eyes contribute significantly to a bright and youthful appearance. Over time, the tissues above the eyes and brows can become weak and begin to sag. Drooping brows can start to impair your vision, causing you to develop a chronically tired or angry expression. Little can be done to naturally or non-surgically prevent the descent of your brows.

Your Brow Lift Procedure

Endoscopic Brow Lift

An endoscopic brow lift uses a series of four or five-centimeter incisions placed along the hairline. Dr McManamny inserts an endoscope and other specialty tools into the incisions, separating the forehead tissue and brows from the underlying bone. The soft tissue and muscles are repositioned and held in place with stitches attached to the bone.

Open Brow lift

An open brow lift uses longer incisions placed along the hairline. The soft tissue and muscles of the brows are lifted and positioned to frame the eyes. With an open technique, you can improve the level of the eyebrows and improve frown lines between your brows. Sutures are used to hold the brows in their new position.

A brow lift is designed to restore a firmer and more youthful facial appearance.

What Do You Desire?

A Fresh, Rested Appearance

The weakening of facial tissues can cause fine line and wrinkles to develop around the eyes and on the forehead. Non-surgical treatments can become ineffective as your brow drooping becomes more pronounced. Smoothing forehead lines and lifting the brows can help you achieve a more youthful facial aesthetic.

Addressing Your Concerns

You will experience some bruising, swelling, and tightness of the forehead. Dressings will be applied, and ice packs can be used to help relieve bruising and swelling. You should rest with your head elevated for one week following your procedure. Most patients can return to work within one week of their procedure. You can resume your regular exercise routine after three weeks, and most of the significant swelling will subside after six weeks.

Dr McManamny’s endoscopic brow lift results in zero scarring. If you require an open brow lift, you may develop some mild scarring that is usually hidden within the hairline. The extent of your scarring will depend on your body’s natural healing process.

Brow Lift Cost

The cost of your brow lift will depend on the extent of correction required to help you achieve your desired results. Surgical, facility, and anaesthetic fees all factor into the cost of your brow lift procedure. Dr McManamny will provide you with detailed procedure prices in the Brow Lift Surgery COST QUOTE following your consultation.

A brow lift is performed with the patient under a general anaesthetic. While most patients will likely experience some discomfort during their recovery, it can typically be controlled using oral pain medication.

Before & Afters

Frequently Asked Questions About Brow Lift Surgery

Am I a good candidate for a brow lift?

Men and women considering a brow lift should be in good health, non-smokers and have realistic expectations about their results. A brow lift is designed to correct sagging brows and wrinkles on the forehead, which can begin to develop around 40 years of age.

How can I correct visible signs of ageing on other areas of my face?

It is common for patients to have visible signs of ageing around more than just their brows. Combining a brow lift with other facial procedures can provide overall facial rejuvenation. A facelift will lift sagging skin and smooth wrinkles on the lower two-thirds of the face, and an eyelid lift will correct drooping eyelids.

How long will the results of my brow lift last?

Brow lift surgery provides long-lasting correction to the upper face. However, the procedure cannot prevent additional ageing from occurring. Most patients feel that their results last them many years.

Can I prolong the results of my brow lift?

Taking care of your skin can help prolong your brow lift results. Avoid direct sun exposure. Many patients choose to undergo routine non-surgical treatments to extend the life of their results. Common non-surgical treatments include facial injectables and laser skin resurfacing.

Are there any RISKS to having surgery?
